Back at ya, Jasper!

A video work made from microscopy footage, examining nano-cellulose imprinting parameters. The letters were imprinted onto microbial cellulose from the text on a copper penny. One drop of water is placed on the specimen, erasing the imprint. Unexpectedly, as the water dries, the cellulose returns to hold it's original imprint, demonstrating the "material memory" of the substrate.
